On Monday morning I had a date with a man with a scope. Sparing all the details, most of you will know when I say, "A healthy colon is a happy colon". The two nurses and the doctor who took care of me were very pleasant, smiling people. I accepted the visit as a welcomed nap, pampered by all those warm blankets.
The nurse folded my discharge papers and put them into an envelope which she sealed. They made sure my ride was there before letting me out of their site.
When I was back home and settled in, I opened the envelope to read the papers. The top page had a picture of their facillity and the words, "We enjoyed caring for you. Thank you for choosing us. It was a pleasure to care for you. Sincerely The physicians and staff of (name of place)". Scattered below the picture were the hand written first names of the two nurses and the doctor that "took care of me". It was certainly different with a genuine smile.

Hope all is well with you. I personally do not like any doctor visit and I have not had one of those tests and I hope I never have to have one.

Well I suppose it could have been much worse. I really need to go get one of those since I'm over 50 heck I'm pushing 60 who am I kidding. But yuck I'm so not ready for that. Glad yours went well.
