Dentist has cancelled, again!! This is the second time I have spent £15 to get to the dentist, just for them to cancel my appointment!!! Not very happy now :-(

I guess the 15 is the travel fare? Here in the States most doctor's offices will call if they need to cancel, I would imagine it to be much the same in the UK? I would not be very happy and might even be looking for another dentist.

@Ggsmummy It's funny how they expect us to call 24 hours in advance if WE need to cancel (or we get charged) but if THEY need to cancel, they don't do that. Atleast we have a charge if we don't call and cancel within 24 hours, I don't know how it works over there?

I'm sorry they canceled on you again when you were almost already there and have to pay a fee to get there. They always want us to call 24 hours in advance or they will charge us for not canceling. Well we should charge them for how many times they cancel on us.

My husbands dentist just did this to him yesterday! He made an appointment, went there and they told him to come back tomorrow. He is there today but he missed half a day at work to go! He's getting annoyed with it too.

I guess you should get another one unless they have a good reason for doing so

I would complain and refuse to pay. Speak to the practice manager.
