Got my final grades!

United States
December 16, 2015 11:09am CST
I know some are wondering about my final grades, probably because the two classes I was taking were my weakest, science and math. In math I got a B and in Geology I got an A. Now I guess I have to wait for an e-mail about my degree and how all that works (or I will call a friend who has various degrees at the same college). I am a little disappointed that my GPA went down from 4.0 to 3.57, but I am not going to focus on that, I am going to focus on graduating and moving on.

Yes! and now to get you started. How is the process coming along with you starting classes?

@Carmelanirel2 I haven't done anything more yet. Things were up in the air with us about a month ago as we thought we were going to have to move to Wisconsin. Fortunately that didn't pan out so we were here to stay...at least for a while. I really need to get motivated to do something.

@simone10 I know that each state is different, but I believe most of the processes are the same, so if you need any help, just let me know..

Thanks, considering these are my weakest subjects, I would say they are pretty good too. I already called a friend who started the same time as I did; we are going to walk together next May.

grading in college here is the opposite. 1 is the highest, 5 is fail. what work will you be applying for after graduation?

Right now I am working on getting my house cleaned. Though the guys did some cleaning, they left so much untouched it is disgusting. Then I will probably work on one of my novels query and synopsis to send and then work on the other one while waiting for a reply back. I think due to the fact that this house is let go when I'm not here, I either have to get a job to pay for a housekeeper, or my husband will have to get a job.

Congratulations! 4.0? Wow, if not because of the B in math you're a straight A's student otherwise...

@sishy7 Thank you for remembering my journey through this. I'm sure some MyLot members remembers even further back, to where I was discussing applying for a grant with a certain member. I haven't seen her around though, I mean I have seen her profile, but she hasn't been active for a very long time.

The semesters I was taking Writing, English, and Psychology classes I was getting straight A's and had a 4.0, but math usually messes that up. Anyways, thank you, I still can't believe I went through this.
