Random Word Post – Borstal

I find a random word by flipping through a dictionary or using a random word generator and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # “Any of a number of correctional schools for delinquent boys and girls in England. [After Borstal, an English villiage]” I’m guessing that the first – or most famous – of these schools was in Borstal and that it had some name, but Borstal just became slang. One night I had some time to kill, so I flipped through my dictionary and found a bunch of words to use for this. I thought Borstal was kind of interesting, and I figured I could come up with something snarky to say about it. I guess not.
