Titles may get people to pay attention and read the topic but for many there must be decent content too.
No telling what others find interesting, i just find it's good to write about what you're interested in and see if other members think the same

@smoneyshoney I think the result of doing that could be good for you
my tiny bit of advice would be always remember a post is not a discussion.
A post becomes a discussion when the starter interacts with a responder as we're doing now.
People always like to think their contribution is valued and will often take note of those that get back to them.
The other thing is get rid of the green man and put up an avatar of some variety...not necessarily a picture of you but something people will associate with you and remember.
It's a little thing but something in my experience i've found is important.

yes, time of the day is a big factor as is luck.
also if you've got decent followers they'll often actively look for your discussions which helps a lot.

My experience so far says that it is the topics falling under 'personal' category that draw more likes and comments.I mean,posts about your own experiences,feelings and thoughts.If these posts are written in easy to understand,flawless and attractive language,they invite more likes and comments.
