Calm After A Storm

I know a lot of people say it is a calm before a storm, but I am going to twist it around for this post. It is Thursday and that means I am extra extra busy at work on Thursday as it is the day before my scheduled day off (Fridays), so I have so much I need to complete before my shift ends. It is going to be hectic and stressful, but as long as there is a calm after the storm I can get through it :D

That's a good way of looking at it! I had one of them days today too, where I was so busy trying to get everything done by the end of the day (I am off on Fridays as well).

@gudheart During the summer, I pretty much work 7 days a week due to my job requirements. But I try to make up for it in the winter time by working less hours. I guess that is one of the benefits of having a salaried job, is being able to work less hours when you need to, and still getting paid the same!

It is a good thing that after the storm there is a calm. Without it, who could handle storms at all?

And there are warm, relaxing bathes afterwards to relax tense muscles.

Same here, on top of getting my house back in order, I clean my neighbor's house on Thursdays, so I really need to get back to work.

@gudheart I got a lot done last week and this week I have both my son and my husband to help me. Would love to get everything in order before the new year.

The calm before the storm is not always a good thing but it sounds like it is in your case.

It is good that there are calms both before and after storms. A continual storm would not be good.
