Random Word Post – pukka

I find a random word by flipping through a dictionary or using a random word generator and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # “Genuine; sound.” It’s the Hindi word for cooked, or ripe. Which raises a bit of a question. To me, a cooked steak and a ripe banana are two different things. I’m not sure why you’d use the same word for both. If it was some sort of “completed” or “ready,” that would make more sense. To me at least. Because, you know, I have the final word on what words make sense. It’s a little known power I have. Or maybe I’m just not pukka.
