~I Wanted That House Very Much~

I found a house yesterday that I absolutely fell in love with and that we could afford each month. I was so excited, my husband loved it too. My husband was going to call after work today about it...But the ad is gone because the guy rented it out already! It was seriously up for a day and someone rented it. 
I suppose it wasn't meant to be for one reason or another. I am just hoping we can find another house we both love. I am sure we will, like everything else it will take time...

It is sad that you didn't get that house. I hope that you will find another great house instead. We have the opposite problem at the moment. We want to sell our house, but we haven't found a buyer yet.

@Marcyaz People in Copenhagen and Aarhus (the second largest city) are generally able to sell their houses, but our house is located on an island, and there aren't many buyers here. It is possible to sell houses on my island, but the most of the sellers lose money.

@Marcyaz Yeah unfortunately we didn't have the money right then anyway. We were just hoping they would still have it until the first. Thank you, I'm sure God has something better for us.

@LovingMyBabies When I was with my ex-boyfriend, we were looking to buy a house. I saw so many that I wanted and could visualize my life there, but we kept getting out-bid by others. It was so frustrating.

Since that house is just rent, namely it is not sold yet. Perhaps one day you can still buy it if the people don't rent it any more. Here the house is quite expensive and it is really difficult to find a house which can be affordable.

@youless We are looking to rent-not buying. It is expensive here too which is why I wanted that house since it was nice and we could have afforded it.

The house you found was for sure pretty nice, otherwise it wouldn't have been rented so quickly. But before you rent a property it is good to look for the condition of the house, especially if they are old buildings, so can you avoid expenses in reparations. It is like a used car, you can not know about the performance of the engine.

@Rick1950 Yeah it was nice and a good price but I know something else will come along. My husband owned a remodeling company for 10+ years thank God so he knows what to look for.

I am sorry to hear that. I know it is not easy to find a house which we love it. There are many houses out there but not all of them we love. I hope you will find another house in the next time, where you love it too. Be patient...

Haunt Craigslist. New listings come on every day, all day. I think you can also set up email alerts on many sites. With rentals, hours count. When I put one of mine up for rent, those that snooze, lose. So many are looking for reasonably priced houses, and I am always inundated with calls the moment I put it on Craigslist. I start showing it the next day, and usually it is gone. Gotta be quicker than the average rabbit!

I am sorry to hear that, the same thing has happened to me also, it just seems like everyone is getting houses and it is making it hard for all of us in this world, I live in a trailer park, it is not great but it is a place I can call home. I sincerely hope you can find another house you both love, best of luck to you and your husband. :)
