Went to the Pantomime

Our kids, all under 7 go to a school who offered the chance to go to the local Pantomime for a reduced price. So tonight we all went to see Aladdin at the local Opera house and I must say we had a fantastic night. The production was excellent, actors, singers and dancers first class and the kids really got into the spirit of things. Now roll on Christmas

I think a lot of our American friends may not know what a pantomime is. It's a strange concept when you think about it - Principal Boy played by a girl, Ugly Sisters and Dames played by men.

Its certainly one of those eccentric British things!! A bit like trying to explain cricket!!
