Did i heard it right?
Did they call my name?
Yesterday, the association i am in had a Christmas Party. Aside from me and my colleagues, there are head officers that were invited, and brought some gifts that will be raffled.
After the festive lunch, our superiors decided to give their gifts through raffle draw. Since i never had the luck to win in any draws, i decided to stay in one corner and just chat with another colleague.
Winners have been called and then suddenly someone.called my name. Telling me i just won something. Colleagues shouting at me, like everyone's eyes are on me.
Actually i heard my name, but i thought it was.just the wind or something. Didn't entertain the idea of winning.
The prize maybe not that much but it was the feeling of winning.something that was priceless, by the way an accounting staff told me that he saw that "priceless reaction" of mine. Hahaha
Did you ever won something? What was it?

I won a lot of money a couple times in vegas. they take your photo and everything. I still have a couple of those photos. it is a great feeling.

Congratulations on winning a prize at the Christmas party. Yes, two years in a row I won a prize, and the fun part is I don't drink, I won a bottle of champagne two years in a row. It was a while before those bottles got drunk, but not by me. My husband shared it with friends.

WOW!!! Congrats! I never had luck in raffle draws or any contests. Ahahahah!
But I remember winning a SIM card way back in college. It was a new SMART SIM and the crowd were envious, not because of the SIM but because of the one who handed me the prize. LOL

Congratulations! I've won a raffle once too at Christmas party. It was a Nintendo Wii. I was actually praying to win the Fridge but hey, no complaints! I didn't use it though I has to sell the unit to add in the holiday expenses :)
