I believe the saying is something like the ones you love the most are the ones that hurt you the most. This is very true because why would you care what a complete stranger says to you? They don't mean anything to you so what they say or do is of no consequence to you. Depending on who the person is you can forgive them, hold it against them, or forget it happened and just not let it happen to you again. Either way you should let them know so maybe they won't do it again.
