Dinner with Friend

Tonight we are having dinner with our dear friends.
she is the one that marry us.Justice of Peace.
This is the start of inviting people over for the Christmas season.
We do not exchange gift.That is long gone.Friends are a gift to me.
Tonight Mike is making something special and first time around.
Rigatoni alla Norma
with garlic bread and salad.Plenty of wine.
Dessert is Pumpkin Bar spice with whipped cream
or Pistachio Ice cream or dark chocolate

Every Christmas we go to the Isles Casino for their buffet and then to a movie--I buy poinsettias for my neighbors and people who bake me cakes, cookies, etc., and a lot do!!! On the weekend I will make a turkey and give plates to the security guards and a few people I know who have no family and will be home alone.

I invite as much as I can and cook for my friends. This year I will go to my eldest daughter´s house on Christmas Eve and will have a barbecue at my home with my youngest daughter. For my eldest I will take appetizers and for the youngest I will make appetizzers and salads. They will bring the meat and the dessert.

@amadeo Argentina and Chile have a custom of cooking barbecues. Argentine meat is the best there is, but Chile also has good meat. We do not place hamburgers over the coals but big chunks of veal and pork. If there are children we add sausages.
