I have always enjoyed X Files and would see it return for another series. However, I certainly do not consider that aliens are on Earth. It is quite feasible that many other lifeforms exist through space and may even have observed us, but beyond that it is letting our minds get carried away.

@fedupjane I have encountered many such oddments over the years, including the fact that many cave drawings display people with rings around their heads that can easily be considered space helmets. This can be interesting, but has never swayed me into believing of alien presence here.
You only need to consider the diversity of life forms on Earth to realise that a species from another planet would be vastly different and unable to pass unnoticed.

Our native americans believe they come from star people. Their legends talk of receiving knowledge from sky people. Same as other ancient cultures around the world.
Now the more intriguing part is that all ancient cultures share a story of a great flood that enveloped the earth and they were all told by "sky people", "the gods", "god", what they had to do to survive. Well there is geological evidence this flood happened.
All of these old legends, to include in the bible, speak of outlandish events that couldn't possibly be true because they seem like something out of scifi book.
But to an ancient people, it seems that they are describing what they are seeing with their current understanding of the world at the time.

One of my favorite TV series, along with Star Trek etc.
Butt, why the heck would they be so dumb as to tell the government they're here?

Unless someone weaponizes space, our species doesn't pose a threat to an alien race. But if you listen to ancient stories they all had help from someone that came from the sky. Teaching the people how to do things, such as farm.

I have a really strange perception of those ancients @fedupjane I think they may have been from Mars because they'd almost completely destroyed that planet, now look at whats happening to Earth.

@rebelann I have a feeling those who came from the sky managed to make it into the bloodlines here.

I have never really watched the XFiles, I'm not sure why not. I do like "alien" shows and believe that there is a good possibility that they have visited us and the government is covering it up. Have you ever watched the show "Ancient Aliens"? It is really very interesting and to me almost proves that aliens were here on earth at one time.

@fedupjane I really love the show! It is so interesting and really makes you think about how things could have been built so long ago.

I watch it every time it comes on. I just bought a book from Graham Hancock called Magicians of the Gods. The first chapter talks about the site in Turkey called Gobekli Tepli. It's 12.8k years old in it's oldest carbon dated building site.
