6 months before 9/11 happened, I served my last day of my contract with the Army. Ever since 9/11, I have been deeply concerned with the government and it's actions towards the American people. Especially now more than ever. Did you know any american can be added to the terror watch list without receiving due process first?

Our country as we knew it, and the government as we knew it, no longer exists. The United States government is no longer a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. I'm curious is if it's the military that's behind our loss of freedoms, or the White House? Either way, it's all about power and preservation of the ruling elite. On a slightly different but related topic, I'm totally surprised that our military has not staged a coup against the Obama administration yet. He is completely destroying this country, and I know our military cannot be happy with the direction this country is heading.

@fedupjane Oh, I'm totally sure there's a lot of things being planned for behind closed doors, and a lot of preparations being made for the eventual collapse/overthrow of our federal government. I just hope at the end of the day that our own military doesn't turn on its own citizens.

@moffittjc Our economy is on its last legs. They are preparing for another collapse but this time it isn't going to be like 2008. It's gonna be like 1929.

Who's to say that something isn't already being done but behind closed doors. If you read in the alternative media such as Veterans Today, you will be surprised what is being discussed. You cant trust mainstream media. It's all scripted. Kennedy was shot for trying to stop what was happening to our government.

I am more concerned about their total lack of interest in broader human rights.

@fedupjane so many, but things like locking people in Guantanamo and torturing them without making any formal charges or giving them their day in court.

@boiboing um. Enemy combatants aren't given the same due process as american civilians. Besides the manchurian candidate in the white house let them all go for the most part.

I believe I was aware of this and that is part of why I feel concerned for so many people who shoot their mouths off all the time on social media.

There is talk among the private financial news companies, that the economy is going to tank so badly that we are headed towards another 1929 collapse.
