New Tradition

As the years go on, people aren't doing the classic traditional dinner for special holidays. Least not nearly as much as they used to. A lot of families go out for dinner now days instead. I really don't blame them! By the time you buy the turkey, roast, all the side dishes, dips and other foods. It is really just easier to a nice buffet. The costs between the two really aren't all that different. By the time you factor in the mess and cleaning up. Sounds like you are just better off to start a new modern tradition. What do you and your families do, go out or stay in?

We have a small (9) Christmas dinner, at our house with all the trimmings. Boxing Day we have the family (24) for brunch and to open gifts. This year we will have a bonfire with wieners and marshmallows in the early evening.

Nothing better than a bonfire with the people that make you happy!

We often go out and prepare our own too.
