I have been having pains in front of my neck I think where the thyroid part is located. In the beginning, I only felt a slight of pain when I apply my sunblock cream on that part. Then well, like usual, I always shrug off thinking it will go away on its own soon. But it lasted

. On the second week, If hurts me when I swallow, when I eat and drink. I started using hot compress, drinking lemon tea with honey, even went to buy some super expensive ginger

. But did not help

. Now it even got worse because it hurts when I twist my head or if I look upwards. This kind of pain is just something new to me. It’s not the usual tonsillitis or sore throat kind of pain. I consulted my best friend - Mr. Google and he is telling me a lot of horrible things like, cancer of the throat, cancer of the thyroid and a lot more distressful information. OMG! I have a doctor appointment tomorrow and I pray there is nothing serious about it. Do you also describe your symptoms to Mr. Google?

Well done for spotting it and leave the rest to your doctor. I had thyroid cancer 5 years ago and can reassure you that it doesn't have to be a big deal and that 90% of lumps on thyroids are benign.
