It was a very busy weekend for my family. Saturday my husband and I went to look at some houses-all of the houses the guy had were really tiny and in bad areas. (We actually witnessed a drug deal going on). So...that was a huge waste of time!
Yesterday we had church in the morning, we went to Walmart to pay my phone bill and the belt busted on our car. Thank God we weren't far from the auto store so we got a new belt for it. Then after all of that mess my husband worked on getting the new belt on while the kids and I went to evening service with Sabrina.
After evening service the church gave us the gifs for our children. So we came home and wrapped all of them. They got a lot of good gifts! I know their going to have a good Christmas. =)
It felt weird not being online all weekend! How was your weekend?

@marlina Yes it does, but I sure did miss being here. I am usually here at some point every day. This past weekend was strange.

That's too bad that it didn't work out. I don't know about your area, but I know down here mobile homes are generally a lot cheaper than houses and apartments. Even to the point of being able to buy a three bedroom MH for about $9,000 in some parks or on it's own land. Payments can often be chopped up by the owner. A lot of people who live in the country find MH living a great way to live cheaply. I hope you consider that. It might mean living farther out of town, but maybe that wouldn't be so bad.

@ThankyouLord The mobile homes here are going for as much as houses! I do not understand it at all. Prices are insane here and I don't understand why. The houses are small-too small for our family, they are run down and in really bad areas too!

@LovingMyBabies I have a friend who bought a MH in a family park about four years ago, and it was 2 bedroom. I visited him there. He paid $7,000 for it, and when he left about a year ago he sold it for $5,000, I believe. In my job I visit MH's all the time, and for some patients that are really broke, they say they paid about $3,000, again, a 2 bedroom, but they have an enclosed (very large) sun room. I don't understand why it should be so much more up where you are than down here, in St. Petersburg. Maybe being in a city that is more industrial? We have very little industry here. I used to live in Jacksonville Beach, a few blocks from the boardwalk. I don't even know if the boardwalk is still there. I think industry automatically jacks up prices. Just guessing.

My weekend was productive, low key, warm, and had no mishaps or upsets. So it was a good one.
