Forgive me if I do not reply, I am still getting used to the layout on here, notifications are confusing to an old timer like me. But fear not, slowly but surely I will get the hang of it :)

There are many old timers on board here so welcome to the club! Take your time and slowly but surely you will become so used to doing things here that all of the other places will seem strange

@Marcyaz We are certainly a huge crowd and I often wonder if we outnumber the kiddos here

@mysdianait Maybe we do outnumber the news ones. Perhaps us old timers should add something to our profile picture to show who we are.

When I resigned up back in August, I had just started my last semester of college, so over the 16 weeks of classes, I was here sometimes and was able to slowly get use to how it works. I did find that by going to my settings and allowing replies to my posts or my comments to be sent to my e-mail makes it easier to play catch-up.

I also needed a time to be more familiar with the new mylot when I came back. It is new in many aspects actually. But after sometime, I got used to the new layout.

Don't force yourself. It is best to go slow.

No problem you will know your way around soon enough. Lots of old timers like me on here so don't feel alone. One day at a time.

Welcome and if you need some help please let us know. There is a lot of good discussion on the site already that can help you find your way around. We are happy to meet you and it is nice you have joined the site. You can always customize your notifications to make it easier to handle. One thing I have done is turned off all the likes. Second you can delete each notification after you have read it and answered it. There is a X at the end of the notification that will delete this for you. This helps keep your box clean and easier to control and manage. Good luck on this one.
