It's snowing here today and has been snowing on and off since the weekend. Canada is a great place to celebrate Christmas as most years we do have snow by now. Snow really adds to the feeling of Christmas, especially when you're NOT driving.
I heard a Bing Crosby Hawaiian Christmas song which I hadn't heard before on the radio this morning . I know many people have balmy weather around Christmas, but I'm happy to have a white Christmas after all.
What's it like where you live?

Ontario is still warm with no snow - at least in the Niagara region where I live.. My best friend and her husband just canceled their vacation for the Island out your way, too much snow, they didn't expect that so they are going to Bermuda instead.

Is there a lot of snow on Vancouver Island? That's unusual.

@Sheilamarie78 What sort of animals do you get? Did you post about a cougar not so long ago?

Yes, it does. It's hard to describe what a little snow can do. Everything feels pure and clean and we can see the animal prints so we know who our neighbours are.

@jaboUK Yes, on the other site. We saw some cougar tracks last week. I hope she's moved on. We've seen bunny and deer tracks, too.

@Sheilamarie78 Philippines is a country that celebrate the the longest Christmas season. But Christmas Eve is the day where families get together for Noche Buena and on Christmas Day after going to church, the kids go to their godparents who give them Christmas gifts and money. They also receive money from aunts, uncles and even from friends of their parents. So during Christmas, the kids are the richest people here lol

I'd love to hear what Christmas traditions you have in the Philippines.

Well today it is nearly springtime weather.
It is odd for this time of the year.
I hope that we get a bit of snow for Christmas.

@Sheilamarie78 They stayed at the western side of the state - we just got tons of rain, strong winds and I'm glad of that.

But at least for you it's summer. It sounds as if some winter weather in this part of the world is almost as warm as you are.

@Sheilamarie78 Yes, we expect such temperatures in the summer. Usually we won't have too many of such high scorchers.

Quite a hopeless situation here in Estonia. We have had no snow this year yet! It is the first winter that came without snow as far as I can remember.

Enjoy the warmth while you can. I would have guessed you'd have snow, but it must be coming with the new year.

Not a bit of snow this year, which was fine by me. That meant I didn't have to get out and shovel or run the snow blower which became my job once my husband lost his lower leg eight years ago. A lot of people commented that it was hard to believe the season was upon us, and I know that was because of the lack of snow most places.
We got a little bit of snow two different days, but none of it stayed around very long at all, and I didn't need to do much for either one. I did put salt down on the ramp though so my husband wouldn't slip heading to work.
We're supposed to be getting a blizzard in a few days, which isn't great as I have one more job to accomplish and need clear sidewalks to do it.
