Our oldest son suggested that he could cook dinner for us tonight. We said yes of course.
He made a great stir fry consisting of chicken, all kinds of veggies and some rice to round it up.
The whole supper was very pleasant, good food, good wine and most of all excellent conversation.
We told him he can repeat the formula any time.
Next visit will be on boxing day where we will all be together for Christmas celebration.

Good for you . . you got a son who can cook very well! I have a spouse who just can't learn to cook!

isn't it great to have your kids make you dinner once in a while.

Sounds like a great meal to me. My boyfriend can make a really good stir fry also. I didn't eat dinner as we had a work party today so I ate plenty there.

Great I've always said...teach your kids how to cook, you never know when they may need that ability.... and a super bonus when they do it for you, and when your grandaughter becomes a hairdresser.... another bonus too
Now what might I need from the other grandkids....hehe

If your son can cook an edible dinner, shows you raised him right!
