A friend and I went out for dinner tonight at swiss chalet. It was busy but it was fun to get out and enjoy ourselves.
She had a couple coupons for two free appetizers, and I brought my coupons for 2 can dine for $15.99. It was about $20 per person. We had appetizers, main course, and coffee.
I am stuff now and have some leftovers for tomorrow for work lunch which is nice.

I have never been to Swiss Chalet, but free appetizers? I'm down! What kind of appetizers did you get??I hardly have enough room for appetizers if I'm ordering an entree and appetizers tend to be pricey too so it's great that you could save money with those coupons!
Speaking about dining out, today my boyfriend and I ate out.. And, we bought an appetizer along with entrees each! Haha, but only because the appetizer was on the happy hour menu/price. We had the Artichoke Spinach Dip normally $12, for $7 which wasn't bad! Our entree each + drinks average out to be $20 each as well.

We had perogies, and these chicken spring rolls. They were pretty decent I must add. They have a promotion on right now and you scratch these cards (get what you win). I also got the one coupon in the mail. I did take my left overs home for lunch today for work. I don't know how some people can sit and eat the entire plate.
I love Artichoke and Spinach Dip!!

It's been a long time since I went out for the dinning. I prefer home cooked meal as it is safe, healthy and cost peanuts compared to price you have to pay for the same meal in some good restaurant. I eat out only once in a while and even in that scenario, I prefer going to place that will not burn my pockets. $20 per person is costly, but it all depends on food items, quality of food, place you have selected and of course, the purchasing power of the person.

I completely agree I know some places who don't practice good hygiene while serving and cooking. But the cost here compared to going out is about the same. I usually try to go out once a month but sometimes I don't end up going.
