Do you Recycle? Cans, Plastic Bottles, Glass Bottles in exchange for money? I used to not be home often due to working full time, going to school - I would buy bottled water because it is convenient for on the go! I typically drink Dasani or Aquafina and typically it's like $4.99 + CRV ($1.20) for a 24 pack. And when I do buy water, I always stock up by cases! So the CRV definitely adds up. After a few months of saving cans, glasses (save cans+glass from our parties we host) and plastic bottles - I was able to recycle to get $30! Which is pretty awesome! Do you recycle also? Do you recycle other items for money?

There is no such promotion here. i recycle the newspapers for money, but that is very little money. Anyway, recycling is good for the environment.

I see, but yes recycling here isn't much either - just a nice incentive. Recycle overall is great for our environment and the earth so it is nice to hear you recycle also!

Yes, I will recycle anything that can be cycled. I do it not because of the money. Since one day I had a lot of newspaper, big paper boxes, soda aluminum can, plastic bottles etc., but finally they are worth about USD0.30. This money is pretty low and you can understand I just want to do something good for our environment.

Yes, of course! Recycle even if it's not for money! But the items that can be recycled for money, even though it's not much ~ its better than no money and we're helping our environment also!

In my family, we love to recycle all the things that we can recycle sometimes for the money and sometimes for other things in exchange. We have a small shop and because of this we accumulate a lot of plastic boxes and we prefer selling them once or twice in a month. Sometimes, we give them to our neighbors when they ask for it. As far as water bottles go, we mainly buy them when we are miles away from hour house and at that time, the best thing we can do is to make sure that we crush it properly and dispose it to trash can. So, that it is not used again by someone else.

That is great you're able to recycle and get money! Here in the States, you can also recycle cardboard, paper but I don't have much of those to recycle for money but I dispose in the correct trash bin. Thank you for your response and welcome to myLot!
