General knowledge about Santa

Why did Santa use Chimneys as a route to get in and out of home?
Because it is too cold outside..and with snow, every time he tried to reach the doorstep, he fell...so he decided Chimney would not only save his back, but also help to keep his feet warm.
From where did Santa get the reindeer?
Actually reindeer got him, and not the other way round. Just because reindeer can't talk our language does not mean we can be presume what is logical.
Why does Santa look happy always?
There is one gift less to carry in the bag after the previous delivery.
Merry Christmas...love all of you...you all are great friends. Hugs.

@DaddyEvil ...Not everybody is as intelligent as you are. I was having fun when I got a few curt remarks..being sensitive person I got the message loud and clear. Decided I need to be back with posting.

@vandana7 I had wondered what happened to you saying you were going to hijack conversations, vanny...
I don't understand why anyone would care, because you are still putting bits of pennies into their bank, no matter what topic you choose on their discussion... IDK what is wrong with people!

I can give you an answer, @Jlyn10 !
It's because he eats all the cookies and milk the little kids leave for him for after he leaves their presents.... Or it is because .... No, I can't say that! lol!

Would you like to know the "real" reasons we are given for these "questions", vanny? I will tell you what I have read and heard, but only if you want to know it.
Merry belated Christmas and Happy New Year, Dearheart!

@UR_Forever_Raja Hey, my King! You finally came back!
Merry belated Christmas and A Happy belated New Year!
I have missed you so much! I am literally jumping up and down yelling, "Raja's back!" My daughter is threatening to take me to the insane asylum! If she does, you will come get me out, right, my King?

I like these "general knowledge", they are amusing, though I thought I'd really come and learn facts about Santa. I was expecting to read St. Nicholas in your discussion as well.
Happy belated Christmas and Happy New Year! Wishing you a joyful and peaceful year in 2016!

@kaka135 Well, if you go over to the box Plethos is in, somebody did stop by and mention St. Nicholas... and was rude to vanny, in their next breath! LOL! She treated the discussion's author like she was nobody to be saying anything about anything on this thread!
I'm still wondering how vanny controlled herself!

Thanks for the info it's amazing to learn things about Santa and it's reindeer. And one may never know the real true story but it's still fun and interesting to learn and share facts.

LOL! Again, @vandana7 , you are being too sly about this, hon! All you needed for a good post more people would have noticed and responded to was you wishing them a Merry Christmas in your heading. People would have flocked to that.
You may not have gotten very many responses on this one because you said it was about Santa. (giggling!) You would have gotten more by saying it was about Satan, instead, as more people would have come to see what it was about, then...

You want gifts from Santa...you gotta have warm chimneys..as simple as that. lol. Don't worry about his clothes getting dirty...he has a good washing machine and and the material that red and white colored attire is made off can be dusted easily.

@bluesa Yes, actually I have, hon! I de-boned what was left of our smoked turkey day before yesterday and froze four packs of it then used the small pieces in a casserole. That was great!
I've been off for a few days, so I have been catching up on housework and taking cat naps off and on while playing on myLot, too!

I love the whole idea about Santa and I will make my future kids believe in Santa too, at least while they're young. I think he uses the Chimney because no on will notice him in the roof. Dogs can see him if he used the front door. Thank you for sharing this info. I love Santa.

@vandana7 hahaha. atleast, he has his reindeers now. I know i shouldnt laugh but this is so funny. Now, He could land directly in the roof and he's safe from dogs. Too bad if the house doesnt have a chimney.

And well, I don't really know...may be he sat on the top of the chimney warming himself and sent the rat king down to do his job. Who know? With Santa anything is possible...
Merry X'mas and Happy New Year too you as well..belated..lol

I suppose I'm a little late to the party, but thank you and I hope you had a very Merry Christmas as well, @vandana7!
I find your post to be funny and unique amongst the ever-so common, average "Merry Christmas" discussions!
I'm hoping that Santa doesn't get his feet warmed from an actual fire in the fireplace, or there may be a lot of little kids staring at an empty space under their tree from that house forward along Santa's route!
