I'm in my room right now because my relatives are literally giving me a headache. It's so bad that I think it got to the point of a migraine. I'm doing better now but I just can't go out there right now.
It's amazing just how loud they get. I tried to stay in the back of the room so I wasn't getting the full force of it but the headache came fast. I just have to be in my room for now until I get better.
Do you have loud relatives?

I was awoken about four hours ago. My sister and brother in law came with my niece and nephew. They were way too loud for my just woke up brain. I tried to get them to hush the best I could without seeming mean.
I have a headache now, so am hiding away while I can.

Thankfully, no don't. I have very few relatives and that is okay too.

When I moved to Croatia the first thing I noticed is how softly everyone spoke, living in Asia you kinda get used to conversations held at full volume , I don't think that your relatives boisterous chatting would bother me at all, I am immune to it

I do not have relatives that are so loud I get headaches, but at some gatherings I do need my space.

@Bellatricks I think my relatives get loud to outdo each other. When we get together I can barely hear myself think. I hope your migraine goes away soon.
