Lets see some snakes

Just wanted to introduce my boa. He is 5 years old and getting so big, his last shed was 6ft 7in.

I'm wondering why you keep a snake - you can't take it for a walk, or pet it like you can a dog or cat.

@crystalrae Wow - you do take him for walks? How do you do that? An cuddling a snake wouldn't appeal to me

I do take him for walks and to the park. He also likes to cuddle. Hes quiet and don't shed very easy to take care of.

Wow, I am surprised that you like snake instead of keeping a dog or a cat. I wonder what you feed it with? Live rats or frozen chicken or fresh chicken? I am curious to know since nobody here can keep a snake at home.

Technically you are to feed snakes frozen food thawed out. crickets and mice when they are little as they grow bigger you feed them rats and move up the chain. Right now we are feeding him large rats. There are some people that raise rats to feed live. I used to raise rats but kill them before I fed them to him but I don't like hurting animals.

I am really afraid of Snakes. By seeing the picture of the snake, I already got terrified.
