I received a Christmas gft of onehundred dollars which I tucked into a hidden place in my billfold yesterday.Well its a lucky thing I did as again someone took six dollars out of my bill fold sometime when I was asleep. This had to be yesterday morning or this morning when I was nap ping. I am so afraid it was my roomate as she was here while I was asleep. She has been buying stuff too. I did not tell the front desk the last time but I will tomorrow I hate this as Im honest and I had thought people here were too but evidently not

I would get a small safe and keep your valuable belongings (money, jewelry, personal information, etc.) in there when you don't have them on you. Honest people are a rarity.

@Hatley be careful as a small safe could easily walk while you sleep especially at night.

Oh no! Someone stole $6 from your wallet? But if it's your roommate, why would you tell the front desk? Next time, how about sleep your wallet underneath your pillow or do not expose your wallet? That is very dishonest whoever stole money from you though.

I hate to acc use her but my billfold was in my handbag hanging on my walker. It is in plain sight of me all the time excep t when i was napping so it had to happen when I was asleep in he morning.

@Hatley Oh yes, no pointing fingers! But, I hope you get to figure out who stole your money. Is there somewhere else you can keep your wallet safe?

If your facility has a place where residents can keep funds on hand for when they need to go shopping or buy other things I would put my funds there or keep my money on me at all times, for if the six dollars and other was stolen the 100 dollars could easily be found if someone really had a mind to search.

I'm starting to understand why some women carry their money in their bras. Not that I'd do it. It sounds extremely unhygienic.

Is there a place that you can lock your money up.

You don't get something with a locked drawer in your room? That's very upsetting.

That's horrible. I hope you tell the staff as soon as possible.
