2015 in Fiction

Back in the 80's and 90's the portrayal of the Year 2015 have a lot of high expectation. Now the "future" people of the past fantasized is ab out to become a past because 2015 is about to end. It is very sad that most of their expectation about this year didnt came true. Anyone who remembers this scene:

@Bluedoll Flying cars exist now but sadly no country wanted to legalize them.

How about a fictional movie of the future where people use high tech bicycles to keep fit?

@CaptAlbertWhisker That's why i don't like watching science fiction movies . They seem to be so exaggerated .

Science fiction movies should not give specific dates on their movies so real people from that year wont be disappointed.

@SIMPLYD I actually liked that movie because it was mostly just a comic illustration.

I like the antique computer in the store window? Wow nice clean streets but people don't stop if you cross it. Well that's normal.

@CaptAlbertWhisker we have a hover board only it doesn't work as well and not over water. The flying cars were big drones. Where was the traffic congestion?

@CaptAlbertWhisker I can see you like technology. Don't worry I think it is on the verge of exploding. There may be some improvements in the area of virtual reality devices soon too. It is just a matter of sales right?

Back to the Future series is among my favorite movies. I can still remember how I was amazed when I watch it back in the 90s.

Do you still remember how you felt about the "future" 2015. When I was a kid I was so excited for the year 2015 to arrive. years later I am disappointed. All we have in the real 2015 are smart phones.

@Syllogism let us hope we are all alive when those cool things are invented. Flat screen TV use to be a science fiction fantasy but now it is real.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Well, I read a lot science fictions in my teens, so I knew that most of the "futures" in those fictions would not come true. You see, we have only one real future but there're so many imaginary futures most of which are incompatible. Of course when I was young I did expect those cool appliances would come true in the future.
