Would you be willing to migrate to a new country? If so, to which country would you try to go to?

washing on a washboard - This is not easy
When I was young (Some time ago) I thought I would like to home stead in . When I was young the thought of the adventure appealed to me. I read too many westerns about the pioneer days and the out back. Then I had to wash clothes on a wash board for a while. I had to carry water for a bath and dishes and every thing else. I had to cook ion a wood burning stove. And heat the house that way too. But as I got older I decided that I liked electricity too much.. .I like automatic washing machines, refrigerators and inside pluming. So I don't think I would like to migrate to Alaska or Australia now.

No, I dont think I would like to carry water to do the dishes and take baths and I dont think I would like to wash clothes on a wash board! Cooking on a wood stove sounds romantic, but no thanks either! But if we are talking about the "modern" world then I would gladly return to Australia, as I have already lived there for 8 and then a further 4 years and I love the place! At least they speak English, it is a bigger and warmer than where I live now and it is not landlocked! Looks almost identical when written down, but Australia and Austria happen to be a world apart!
