I am a LIFE lover and cannot for the life of me understand anyone that doesnt embrace life - whether consigned in good or bad days. Travel is my passion and I try and do something new with every journey. As I told a fellow writer, I already have planned a list for next year - God willing I will get to do at least ONE of the Ten - I never dream more than 10 at a time just in case, dont want to be a LIFE HOG. My hubby and I are planning an African excursion: visiting 3 neighboring African countries, sleeping in a TENTED safari for the first time (bucket list) then a visit to the luxury Cape Cross in Namabia before our 35th Wedding Anniversary on the 13th February in Sossusvlei - it will be Swamps, Deserts and Nature Reserves - hundreds of kilometers of barren land but views that most people only get to see on Calendars. I am lucky. Do you have plans on what you would like to do next year? Do they involve the family, or are they solo dreams?

That sounds very interesting and exciting. We are going to ski for a whole month. It is not that far from home (6 hour drive). But we usually just go for 2 or 3 days a couple times of year. So, it is a dream to be going for a month!

@Inlemay We live in Alberta and we will be going to Banff Alberta to ski. Not near Aspen but great skiing.

That sounds like a fascinating tour. I definitely intend to enjoy travelling to somewhere different next year, but have not decided where yet.

@Inlemay I doubt if I would get away with trying to smuggle a hole out of the country, especially one of such high value and national interest.

Hey Lany :) That sounds great! Nothing major this year, but a visit to Paris is overdue. Also, I have downloaded a Learn a foreign language app and I plan to learn German, so a trip to Germany would be nice.

Erm yes of course ! The choice is enormous but what ever will be will be.I am afraid I would not do camping but I am sure you will have a wonderful time!

I am not doing any camping - We are staying in TENTED ensuite rooms - they are like hotel rooms just on stilts and in the outdoors under a Boabab tree. More secure than any reed house in Japan.

My bucket list is getting bigger and bigger to where just going anywhere is on my list of plans. One trip I have on my list is a luxury resort and spa stay in Cancun. I also want to take the kids on a Disney Cruise and somehow make it to some sort of festival away from home like Mardi Gras or something like that but don't hold me to it, I am still in the planning stage...
