I do not usually do reviews for anything but I am going to right now! My husband and I went to see Daddy's Home yesterday. I figured with Will Farrell in it the movie would probably not be something I would like-but my husband really wanted to watch it so we did.
Of course nothing new for Will Farrell the language was awful! I felt guilty after leaving just for watching the movie. There were a couple parts where the sexual innuendos got to me as well.
The worst part was my husband happened to look over next to us and there were 2 children sitting there with their father. These children were under 10 years old! The movie was not good for those ages in my opinion at all. Parents really should watch the trailers before taking their kids to watch any movie!
This movie was not good at all in my opinion. Then again I don't like foul language or sexual things being in any movie at all. So, if bad language and sex are funny to you this movie is perfect for you!

@shellyjaneo I don't like him at all, he is always cursing and being inappropriate in everything he plays in.

@salonga That's why I said parents should watch the previews closely before taking their children. Yeah they should have taken their kids out of there but they didn't.

I dont think I´d be thrilled with that film either.
It is incredulous what little kids see today at movies and allowed to as well.
Well, I hope your hubby liked it lolz

@TiarasOceanView Yeah it was not good at all. And I could not believe little ones were in there watching a movie that made me blush! My husband thought some parts were funny, but hes a guy so that shouldn't surprise me.

@lokisdad Yeah I am and there are no movies that I would want to watch anymore. Which is sad, all their coming out with is filth.

@LovingMyBabies I am concerned about the children who are taken by their parents to see this type of movie. I understand the fact that they can see the same type of thing on TV but my feeling is that you shouldn't purposely expose them to it.

@HazySue Yeah that's what bothered me the most about the whole thing. Those kids were WAY too young to be watching that garbage! I was shielding my ears from the language in it, I was shocked to see children there. Disgusting.

Sorry you did not enjoy the movie. I always watch the movie trailers before seeing any movie then I know what I'm getting myself into

@Blondie2222 Thank you. I didn't want to see it at all because I knew what it was about but it was the only movie playing that either of us might want to see. My husband thought it was an okay movie. The movie I wanted to see wasn't playing at the time.

@SIMPLYD Yeah, it was pretty bad. And especially for children which is why it surprised me that young kids were there.

You'd be shocked what parents will let their kids watch. When I was working at the movie theatre, we had no shortage of parents who would purchase tickets to R-rated movies for their kids, then be absolutely STUNNED that we would insist that they actually *gasp* accompany them into the auditorium.
I even had one lady tell me, "Why would I want to watch that crap?!"
Um... yeah. If you don't want to watch it, what makes it appropriate for your 10-year-old to see by herself?

I've worked security as an armed guard in schools for many years now and being recently new to law enforcement if you say some of the things that i'd see parents letting their kids do or do to their kids it would give you nightmares. I wouldn't have thought twice about the kids in there unless they were mine. I would never expose them to that. Trying to keep them innocent as long as possible.

It is horrible what some of nowadays parents let their kids watch, then they blame everyone and everything else when the children turn out bad.

How a parent could take young children to a Will Ferrell movie is beyond me. Knowing the type of humor that Will Ferrell portrays would never be appropriate for children in my opinion. As an adult I think he's funny
