@sweetloveforeve home-based work can be done when you want to do it. I thought i can be doing office work, was in skyscrapers then i have to quit since it makes me sick out of complaining about bosses and life, now i dont see any of my complain.
By the way good luck with your journey @scheng1 . You don't love your job but you can do it! I know you can quit and do something esle but you just don't!. Sorry if my opninion is wrong

@sweetloveforeve I was off work for a year, I left the job after that because they were wanting me back and I didn't want to go back. I spent two years in California until getting back here in the UK now looking for work although I do have my online work, my Etsy store and my own photography website selling my photography work.

@trivia79 I was working in web developing company for 2 years, being chinese interpreter for 2 years, and now make money online. you say that you graduate in IT then you work in Marketing Assistant, if you know to combine these both, and do something for yourself you will be successful. Not every technician has the famous name: marketers are.

Today, I work as a freelance website consultant and developer. Earlier I was a trainer in Computer studies for 16+ years. When I fell ill in 2008 and was told I would never be able to go out on regular job, I migrated to what I do today. And to be honest, there is nothing better that I could have done. I loved teaching (still passionate about it) and I love the profession I am into today despite this being a very competitive line - especially when you are working all alone.
Personally, I wish that everyone did get into a job that s/he loves. Without this, any job will never be done the right way.

@sweetloveforeve It is not a company kind of thing. Being just one single person who works (that is me), it becomes difficult to find jobs. Also, it is expensive here to start a Company / Firm thing - too many legal formalities and that makes it more expensive for one who does not earn much.

@thesids yes i understand you. here is also very hard for someone to open a business. it takes a lot of money to invest. otherwise you might end up drowning in debts. i wish though i could have an online job that could help me earn a little extra money. even if was only 100 euros.

I love my job and the nature of the job. What I dont love is the volume of the job given to us and the scope of the job with respect to my salary. I am looking on to better opportunities outside.

@sweetloveforeve I visit different businesses, like banks, grocery stores, gas stations and make the observations that I am instructed to make and then file a report on the website of the mystery shopping company. It doesn't pay much per job but doing several can add up.

@anh101 im really happy that you could find a job that you really like. i like my job the only problem is that i have a very low salary and many problems there. it is a hard job and i receive a very low payment. and sometimes i have to leave at 11 pm what i really hate because is dangerous to walk alone on that hour.

@sweetloveforeve i was a chinese interpreter though my major is English (this job I worked there, a very big corporation for nearly 2 years, everyone loves my compassion, then I left) right after that I change the work to be a content editor where I feel unfulfilled since I want to write content more than going to copy others. I feel its unethical then I quit. During the time I was working as interpreter, I did work extra hours with a telecommunication company both being a cashier, and customer service supporter since no one knows both english and chinese. But then I leave them all. Now I am working on one project on my own and will be corporate with other guys soon. God blessed everyone with the job they love.
