Did you enjoy this year? Was it financially good? Do you think the new one will be better or worse for you? Do you expect economy to do better? Do you expect promotions and higher salary?

How about you stop interrogating the members and write something about what YOU think? And how about you take some time to reply to the comments people already left you before you go rushing to write more and more new posts?

I'm kinda retired (medically unable to get employed, but never employed long enough to earn retirement). I think 'retirees' have kind of an advantage, in that we know 'where money comes from' but aren't jaded when we find out "it's not-exactly 'work.'" (Oh, it might not be possible WITHOUT work; but employers have get it SOMEHOW ) But retirees CAN get a higher salary ... and NOT in terms of 'amount of money per annum,' but more in terms of 'how much stuff that small amount can buy'---don't ask me how, but prices can go back down somehow (thinking about 'how' makes me think of the picture ... prices are low when employers don't have to pay high salaries, high salaries aren't needed when prices are low---there are other factors, but why worry about them?)

I don't expect the economy to get any better. It was ok financially for me this year hoping next year will be even better though

"Did you enjoy this year?" Yes. "Was it financially good?" Luckily, No. "Do you think the new one will be better or worse for you?" I don't think either way. "Do you expect economy to do better?" Do you make-believe the economy is a person? You might as well ask a handyman 'Do you think tools will be good?' "Do you expect promotions and higher salary?" That's how the younger Millennials think the world is---like things are just 'handed to us' because we "expect" them (I say this as an older Millennial) ... taking every privileged advantage I can get my hands on, but appreciating that none of my advantages were ever "free for everyone"). But I know that promotions will only come to people who apply for them, the higher salary to those who negotiate them

I am retired after 35+ years of selling jewelry. I am enjoying my retirement and have plenty of time now to pursue writing. I just published my first novel a few months ago and I am four chapters into my next novel. This past year has been good for me, because I am comfortable. I had cataract surgery on both eyes, so now I can see much better. And I have enjoyed my retirement. I am NOT happy about what is going on in the world when I see people suffering for various reasons. Floods, earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes, terrorism, hunger, disease, and many other sad situations. But, I see all these things as a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. I am a Bible reader and I realize that many are not Bible readers. But, I can find comfort in knowing that things are about to change for the better, according to Bible prophecy. There is a wonderful web site that I have been recommending to others, where you can watch FREE videos and read fascinating Bible based articles about where we are in the stream of time and what you need to know to survive what is coming upon this earth in the near future. These videos and articles are available in many languages..
