Is the Ketogenic diet healthy?

Prehistoric diets from humans mainly consisted of protein and fats 1-2 times a day. Seems like we turned out pretty well with what little we ate. Studies show that our bodies actually use fats as a better source of energy. Fats are actually 3x better for the brain as an energy source then carbohydrates are. Who'd of thought, right. Lets remember, like I've mentioned in earlier posts, that there are good fats and bad fats. Mono and Polyunsaturated fats are the good ones.

This is interesting. Sounds like the cave man's diet. I've forgotten what it was called, when it was just meat and potatoes and such.

The ratio from bad fats to good fats for this diet is suppose to be a percentage of 70/30. obviously 70 being the good portion. I always did 80/20 or less cause the bad fats serve little to no purpose.
