Where will you be on the 1st January 2016?

Two more hours and it will be tomorrow, next year, January 1st 2016 here in Italy- I am at home and perfectly happy to be here in my jamas, a live concert with some Italian singers on television in the background. I made a dinner with some savoury stuff fitting for a special occasion and when tomorrow comes I will be off to bed because I don't want to sleep late tomorrow. The weather has finally turned cold with snow forecast on the mountains tomorrow and as it is a holiday I will stay in. I will be here most of the day. What about you? Will you go out? Will you be here too? I take this opportunity to wish each and everyone of you (including all of the staff at myLot) a very Happy New Year, hoping that it brings peace and happiness and then everything else will follow

@mysdianait Christmas day was simply my wife and I, my son and his wife came round on the 26th (Boxing day). This meal is different.

@pgiblett I was at my son's home on Christmas Day. This evening they have about twenty of their friends (including the kids) and will be glad to sleep in tomorrow. They will be at mine for lunch on Sunday

Wishing you a happy new year! It's already year 2016 here. We slept early last night, and today we'll attend a school for her open day. It's an International school and there will be some events, so we just go and have some fun, as my husband's alumni was invited. It's not actually a plan for new year celebration.

@mysdianait I hope so. It's a Taiwanese school, so today we'll be listening to their national anthem. I think I haven't hear it before.

Happy New Year to you as well, MysD! I am still in the same place I was all night long... In my bed talking with all of you! I will be going out in a little while, but only to run to the store for some bread, since I forgot to grab some before leaving work last night. I hope the new year finds you prosperous and happy!

@mysdianait Yes, I can, or I can even bake some if it came right down to it, but Pretty apparently can't... So I will need to go out and get some before she wakes up. Her alarm is set for ... hang on a second, please. 2 hours and 23 minutes from now. Edit to add: Yes, I agree, as long as we wake up and our accounts still exist, we are prosperous!

I'm staying in tonight, probably going to bed soon although it's not even close to bed time, I'm just exhausted. Maybe I'll only nap and continue my usual yearly tradition of hanging out with hubby till the ball drops... but I just got off the phone with him and he seems really cranky tonight so maybe just going to bed will be the best option.

My son is working, my husband and I staying home and off the roads where all the drunken people will be. Watching a movie, having homemade popcorn and sparkling White Grape Juice. That's it I may not even stay up until midnight. It's only 3:22 pm here in the Chicago area.

Here most towns have banned the fireworks because we have terrible pollution problems as it has not rained for months and because of the stress that they cause to pets. Happy New Year!

@mysdianait Some places also in the Philippines have that law. In fact, Davao City, Philippines is the first place in the Philippines to approve such rules and regulations. Due to that, it gained a spot on the Top 10 Safest Place on Earth. It is on the 9th spot by the way.

When the clock hit the 00:00 hours I was typing in a response here at MyLot. I was working with a client on his website for most of last night. And I had nowhere to go today. I spent the day offline with wife and our little princess. Got a call from my client again late in the evening and spend about 4 hours on the site. Now I am here at MyLot before I go to bed. Happy 2016
