New Year Resolutions?

Well, here in the UK there is only 1 1/2 hours of 2015 left, so my mind wanders on to what I would like to achieve in 2016.
So, what would I like in 2016?
Well, goes without saying that I don't want to see more flooding, but unfortunately that is something out of my control.
Otherwise, I guess I could go with the usual one or losing weight - That would definitely be good, but I know I need to get my mind correctly motivated to ever do that.
And I long to have our house free of clutter. I did make a start to that in 2015 and made quite a dent Ebaying things we no longer needed, so I plan to start back to that and dream of the day that the house is clutter-free.
I'm not too sure I'd go as far as saying they were resolutions. Do you make New Year resolutions and if so, do you manage to stick by them?

I never do because I know they are up for failure. I go into the new year with hope for peace in the world, for medical miracles and a lot of things. I never make resolutions for myself because I learned years ago it was a joke, any thing that I wanted to happen became part of the new year and not a part of my life. Now I know what i want to change but never make it a resolution that i can ignore, i etch it to my heart.

I've never been very good with resolutions but I want to be more organised in 2016, and I need to get rid of some clutter too.
Sorry to hear about the flooding in your part of the world, We've got the opposite problem here - it's summer, our rainy season, but we're going through a terrible drought and heatwave. I wish things could balance out so that nobody would have to suffer.

I never make resolutions as I know I would never stick to them
