Well, Hello Mr. Sunshine!

It’s been nearly two weeks since I had last seen Mr. Sunshine. But today, after the fog lifted (or maybe Mr. Sunshine burnt it off) there was Mr. Sunshine shining brightly as if to say, “Here I am.” I welcomed him with open arms. I’m quite glad to see Mr. Sunshine after all those cloudy and snowy days. The only problem is Mr. Sunshine isn’t going to create enough heat to melt any of the snow away. Right now it is 22º F (-5º C). And even though Mr. Sunshine is supposed to stick around for the next three days, he still isn’t going to melt any snow. Matter of fact, tomorrow’s low temperature is forecasted to be 4º F (-15º C). All the same I’m still glad to see Mr. Sunshine so I added a photo taken out of my living room window just a few minutes ago so everyone can enjoy him. Photo © 2015 by Richard L. Meister Jr.

Nice photo. We are in the 70's today. I would send you some, but I think it would be cold by the time it got to you.

Mr Sunshine did not put in an appearance here today. We could use a break from the cold, damp, gray days. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you, too. We don't have the damp, gray days but they are still cold. Right now it's 4º F (-15.5º C).

We have also seen some sunshine today and still have some icicles out there but some of the snow is starting to melt out in the front yard but not in the back yard.

That is gorgeous. I don't get snow here where I am at but sure would love to be in your weather even though it may seem so cold.

It does look gorgeous, doesn't it. But it does only seem cold, it is cold!
