How will this year be new to every one?

I always wonder how every year, like in the very first day, is new. I have always had a childlike approach when it comes to welcoming every new year. To be honest, I can't help but feel that it gives you that fresh start to whatever that went wrong, or a bigger positive outlook to what you have already started out well. Almost the same thing goes around my mind like that "this time for sure", "definitely this year will be it", or "this is it".
I just know that it's a constant progress or change every year. It's not really something new; it's a development of what was already done in the past. I look forward to whatever good or bad thing may happen to see how it may change what is already molded for me to get a better view of the outcome. Sometimes I thought that that is it, yet I was wrong. When that happens, I do get surprised and somehow I get the same expectation that it will happen to some other things too in the long run.
So yesterday I was at my window watching fireworks lighting up the dark sky. I asked myself how this year will be new to me. I thought of things I have done and think if I would keep on doing it, stop it, or change it. And, for the things that I haven't done yet, is it now the time? Having those ideas of what to change and/or pursue, that's how every year will be new to me.

I am hoping and praying that this year the things that will be new to me will be me being in a single digit clothing, getting married or atleast meeting my Mr.Right, and continuing to strengthen my relationship with God. No New Year's resolution, but a daily resolution. Happy New Year!

I know you know that God has already set everything for you. For sure he will bless you with a man you deserve. He will let you know at the right time. Just enjoy the things you set out to do for His sake with faith. Happy New Year, too! ^^

@mnjhun1 Yes, I know. Just anxious to meet him I guess and growing a little weary in waiting. Thank you for your encouraging words. I'm doing my best to stay busy working for b God's kingdom while I wait.

@chandrejackson Let me tell you that I had this really awesome boss who told me his story about how he met his wife. He worked as a volunteer for their town's church where he met his wife who was also a volunteer back then. They've been in contact from time to time for the next 6 years but they were still just friends that time. Until one day, he felt that emptiness that he prayed to God asking him "God, bless me with a woman who loves you first." And then he said, all of a sudden the face of his wife flashed right in his mind. He finally took the guts to talk to her more often and 4 years later, they got together. When they were finally about to get married, he found out that his wife also prayed the same thing to God to bless her with a man who loves him first and his face popped in her mind. Now, they're blessed with a little girl ^^
And to think that my boss was around 37 to 39 when he started volunteering. That long wait...but he's now happy. And he said, everything that he had gone through truly helped him in strengthening his relationship. Maybe that goes the same to you, there are still so many things that God should show and teach you first before finally meeting him. It's just a matter of faith and trust. :)

I want to change few things. Bad habits actually I need to focus on my craft business and less worry about what people think about me.

It will definitely be one of the ones I mentioned as a progress when it comes to changing bad habits. Even so, if you don't sway your focus on getting rid of them completely, every year you will for sure become better. I wish you the best of luck :)

Isn't change beautiful? To not know where you are heading is frightening yet exciting at the same time. You will always change, always become someone else and if you are okay with that, you'll certainly enjoy this ride. A friend of mine asked me "If I allowed you to change something from your past life, what would it be?"
My answer to the question was a pleasing surprise. Having thought for a while, I glanced at him with a smile and said "Nothing"
"I don't want to change a single thing." A gentle smile was his response, we booth went silent, introspecting, still smiling.
Not because my life has been a joy ride all along, few of the things have been a terrible heart break but I learned from them. Everything has a lessons that makes us a better human being.
Everything, Good or Bad, changes us for the better.
And like you said, this very change is the "new" in everything. smiles :)
