New Years Eve

New Years Eve was kinda stressful. My son's girlfriend was over, and then there was a big commotion with her having her son for New Years. She was arguing with her brother over having him. She does not have custody of her son. He apparently went to the house and she didn't even know and that caused another big argument with her brother and she ran off at midnight to be home with her son whom she didn't even know she was getting in the first place. She is a very mixed up person with lots of issues

That woman sounds like my cousin. I feel so badly for any child in that sort of situation with a parent or guardian. I hope the son recovers from her latest injury.

@winterose I am glad that the son is with the uncle. At least someone stable is looking after him.

It sounds like it, but it also sounds like this time was not her fault. I am sorry that you had that stress at the house.

I did like the company though. I am always alone, I would have had my boyfriend but we broke up on Christmas Eve. We are talking now but I am still hurt and upset with him

Oh my, that is one stressful night to celebrate. I am sorry to hear that it has to happen on that day of all days. Hopefully all of you were still able to celebrate after the confusion settled down.

Did the son just show up or was it a schedule visit that she didn't remember?. That sounds very irresponsible really. My friend doesn't have custody of her daughter but always knows the dates and times when she has her.
