Just sat here drinking coffee
I’m just sat here drinking coffee and looking out the window.
The weather here in Plymouth, UK is wet yet again. It’s only light rain which is better than yesterday’s heavy rain we had here.
It does look a little brighter and maybe the sun might get through the clouds today before it get dark.
I hope the weather is better where you are although I know many of you had snow. If think I’d rather have rain than snow although I do like to look at snow.

@TiarasOceanView In the 90's no way, never, England and in the 90's wow things have changed, must be a different Newquay to the one I know lol.
No you never said before. Yeah sometime we can get nice weather, but it not always that often, it really is hit and miss.

Yeah rain is becoming very old indeed, I'm but glad when it does brighten up and stop raining. I believe they are saying June that we should get to see the sun but not for long, possible of 2 if not 3 whole days and no rain in sight, so looking forward to it, might even get some sun cream

@kevin1877uk I know how it is there as you know. The sun is such a rarity that when it comes out, it truly is a real treat.
Did I ever tell you about the time my then best friend and I went to Newquay one fine summer. It was so hot for England it was in the 90s..the hottest I had ever known it to be there..ah memories. We were there for around 2 months working.

@Asylum What you mean France or further south, you can't be being Plymouth, we aren't too far behind Manchester with the wet stuff.

I am not a fan of snow....I prefer rain if anything. Although I really want sun. Today we had a bit of sun. It was a lovely 45 degrees F. Which is still cold but warmer then it has been this last week. tomorrow should be the same. just warm enough for me to go wash my car!!

Oh it colder there than here lol, about 50F here today and all week long from what I saw when I looked it up. I like the sun, don't mind rain so much unless it's raining all the time. Snow ok to look at far tooooo cold for me.

@T_gray Yes I take sunshine and warmth any time of year. I agree rain can be relaxing to listen to. I think it's stopped raining outside now, because I can't hear it any more.

@kevin1877uk Darn gloomy weather. Been to much rain lately. Flooding in many countries. The river I live next to is over it's banks on one side. Thankfully I'm on the high side.

@kevin1877uk ...actually too much of snow scares me. I think I start seeing apparitions...zombies...all walking out of graveyards. We have a snow world here, I have been there, and we might take the little ones to it sometime two or three summers later. But honestly it is scary...Indian climate is good.

Thankfully we do not have that much snowfall this year like last year. We had our share of snow for a couple of days during a work week but it is not cold enough to make them actually stay. It was cold enough to make black ice and I really hate driving in that condition.

Black ice isn't good to be drinking on that is for sure. Glad you haven't had much in the way of snow this year.

@kevin1877uk We have a few spots of snow left on the ground, so the warmth of a cuppa always helps.

Weather here is yet more rain. Obviously worrying for those who have recently had their homes flooded. River level is rising, though thankfully nowhere as quick as it did on Wednesday.
We'd definitely prefer the snow to the rain. Guess we're just more adapted to the snow.
Hope the sun did make it through for you.

Snow is ok but it melts sooner or later which can lead to flooding too.
Glad the rivers aren't rising as quick but all the same worrying for those near by.

@kevin1877uk True, but usually if it snows, the snow is removed from the village and when the snow melt comes, it's usually more gradual.

It is a gloomy day here too, cloudy and cold, but I don't think we are going to get any rain or snow. I do love to watch it snow, but I hate what it does to the roads! People around here don't know how to drive on it and getting out on the roads is quite dangerous here! I am ready for spring now and some warmer weather! Have a great day Kevin and I hope your weather improves!
