Scientists Successfully Teach Gorilla It Will Die Someday

We hear how scientists teach apes a lot of stuff but the researchers of Tulane University who handle the ape named ''Quigley'' specifically caught my attention.
I am not sure if there is something positive about what the scientist did there or some people may see the positive side of this. Looking at how Quigley reacted to it I am very unhappy of the result. If the aim was that for it to understand the cruel reality of life or for it to come into realization of how its life would end for me doesn't really make any point.
You see no matter how people try to make animals to be like us we should accept the reality that we are different in many ways, they may successfully made the animal communicate or to make them act like us for whatever help in the field of science or for whatever purpose it may serve for them. I don't think they should go that far.
You don't go out there telling people that they are going to die just to give them a realization of how life works. You don't even say that to a kid, we don't go directly telling them '' Son, YOU ARE GOING TO DIE'' for whatever reason we have. Although that's the reality of life, can you imagine what it does to a child for example? or let's just say to an adult. If you tell an adult ''You are going to die'' the person knows that that day may come any time still just the thought of it, some people can't handle that reality and may have an effect emotionally and psychologically. How much more for an animal who's limited in a lot of things in how to deal with it, unlike us humans, we can hide our fears, seek for help, seek for support from families and friends to cope with that reality. But an animal? This is for me another form of cruelty, if there is anything that this scientist had proven, is how humans can be uncontented, selfish and heartless all for so called ''study'' proving only how cruel we can be all for the sake of what we think could benefit us without the thought of the effect it may cause to another living being. Making us smarter above all living creature doesn't give them nor us the right to abuse that. The animals don't ask for any of these so let them be.
What is left for us to destroy? for us to reach what we want, how much more sacrifice and what more studies should we make to come out with a stupid point?

It's absolutely stupid... and they call themselves scientists? I'm sorry but they're all a bunch of idiots to me. They wanna know how animals will react upon knowing they will die?? Seriously? It's like knowing already how anyone will feel when they are going to be told that they have cancer and will only live a few more months, then they wanna know how a child will react if they tell him/her the same thing? GOD!! Isn't that too obvious??
