Yikes! Deer Brains and Other Body Parts? Chinese Food Restaurant!

Apparently a restaurant in Pennsylvania was caught with Deer Brains and other body parts on their premises. The owner states that these were not to be sold to customers, but things being prepared for his wife.
I don't know whether to honestly believe that or not. Now don't get me wrong, I have had deer meat before. It's just that such things are on the premises of a restaurant that is disturbing.
I worry about cross contamination with something like that. Apparently the restaurant is still left open. They can't shut it down without an imminent health hazard.
Get this though, There has been 14 violations after an inspection in July of last year.
I would not be going to that restaurant ever again.

Not much on a deer is good for eating anyways. It is good for venison.

I am just curious what exactly was being put into the meal. Apparently it was to be a soup. I don't think it'd be quite appetizing, but I wonder why they eat it. They must believe it has some sort of health benefit.

There are all sorts of strange Asian foods that I feel disgusted when I hear about them.. But I guess now, I just try it and if I like it - I'll ask. One of my favorite spreads to eat with bread is pate, which is made from chicken liver!
