I Won The Game Of Thrones

You may recognize my chair here (yes, that really is me). I’m sitting on the swords throne from The Game Of Thrones TV series, actually a scale model of it used for promotional purposes.
It was put on display at an Eastercon convention I attended where our guest of honour was George R R Martin, the Game Of Thrones author.
A photo opportunity on the chair was too good an opportunity to resist. I just have to watch out for Lannister spies now and dragons, and things from beyond the wall…. Aaaargh!!!!

@jaboUK in the books and TV series it is entirely made from the swords of fallen kings - if unworthy to sit on it the blades slice your backside off - fortunately the prop is much safer resin rather than jagged steel

Great pic! However, if you ask me, there can only be one true winner of the Game of Thrones, and that is the psychotic literary serial killer, George R.R. Martin.
