MyLot is quiet, where is everyone?

I realize it is Monday and many people have gone back to work.....but....there is usually a lot more action here during the week than I'm seeing today.
It is way too cold out for me and I thought I've have a lot of company here at myLot, but I guess I was wrong. I even watched some TV with my husband I got so bored! I popped back in here and not much new to read.
It might be time to find something else to do for a while until things pick up.

I think schools are back, but I'm not sure of that either. Thanks for responding, as least I know you're alive and kicking.

It is evening here and I have not been on all day (hardly) because as offices opened again today I had some phone calls to make and some loose ends to tie up that were hanging abpout since before Christmas. My 'students' also came back today too. Schools go back here in Italy on Thursday though as Wednesday will be our last holiday (Epiphany).
I am wondering if the earthquake in India might have kept some people offline and maybe not through choice either.

I'm sitting here waiting for my sister to arrive. Her and brother and brother in law will take my Mom off. Possibly the last time I will see Mom. They're up on the mountain Pass right now, waiting for the roads to clear so that they can get through.

@AbbyGreenhill We live in too remote a place for Mom's comfort plus we do not choose to imbibe in TV. We do listen to National Public Radio and we did check out DVDs for Mom. Not good enough. And the matter of getting her to church at night when it is cold and roads are weird. Just not a good match. And due to worsening dementia, very moody Mom. Very hard on hubby and me's relationship.

It seems that question is asked every day by someone! I never find it quiet--as long as there are 5 people posting discussions it isn't slow if you interact with them.
