Attached to the summer quarters of the Lipizzana stallions that perform in Vienna at the Spanish Riding School is an excellent motor museum. The Lipizzaners summer quarters are in Heldenberg which is also the location of the Heldenberg Memorial so we were able to visit the three attractions on the one day. Unfortunately I don't know the names of the various models. One little three-wheeled model was accessed from the front. I'm not sure what the purpose of the elephant was but he was well-made. The vehicles are apparently owned by the one person and each is taken out on the road occasionally. There was also a small display of uniforms and models. The video is a bit long so you'll be forgiven if you sign off early.

They were well displayed and in beautiful condition. All were fully restored and in working order.

We missed lots of attractions too. Sometimes it was too hard to turn the van around and go back.

It is interesting to see how much we've advanced over the years.

Wow, there was really a little bit of everything in this slideshow. I liked the yellow car the best, it reminded me of the car from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

I liked the one where you opened the door and the steering wheel came away with the door.

Beautiful cars, the vintage cars are those that have the more "personality". I always visit the cars museums when I visit cities.
