So, after successfully managing to avoid seeing any trailors, commercials, discussions ect about TFA I finally went and saw it. And yes it was in 3D. I was terrified that with Disney getting its hands on the series that it would be forever " damaged " in my eyes. Luckily I was not let down by another J.J Abrams train wreck. A lot of questions answered. More were placed. Anybody want to share your opinions?

I liked that it looked similar to the original series, and I liked seeing the old characters. It was over-rated in my opinion. I don't think I will see the next two that are in the works.

I believe that the old characters were my favorite thing. I liked seeing the story built on. As far as th next ones go I'll prob wait until they come out on for home viewing and won't make such a big deal about avoiding spoilers .

OMG yes...I am always the last to see movies, and that's what makes these big blockbuster "phenomenon" movies so troublesome..the minute one comes out that I really want to see, I have to worry about hearing or seeing a spoiler somewhere before I finally see the movie! LOL I prefer reading books, truth be told.
