Okay, I have talked about my new camera and I just wanted to show one picture that I took. Shortly after route I-77 leaves Virginia it climbs then descends a large mountain in North Carolina. I popped on my 75-300 and tried to take some pictures since the views are gorgeous.
Keep in mind two things, we are traveling on the right side and the view is on the left and the car is moving along at about 70 miles an hour. I didn't get quite what I wanted but I did make an attempt. This is taken through the drivers window while and I am in the passenger side.

It is not clear, the movement, the angle and the lighting, it was overcast have all affected the quality.

@BelleStarr When I "blew it up" I could see that the resolution wasn't perfect. But a hand-held camera in a moving vehicle isn't ideal. I'd say the camera has "prospects"!

I am afraid you would have to close your eyes for the ride down this mountain, it is quite steep and high.

Considering the circumstances at which the photo was taken, you deserve a pat on your back. The photo is pretty good and it would be interesting if you can post more photos taken with your new camera.Maybe some Macro shots or some Portrait photos.

Oh it was really hard, the center of the highway is tall and blocks the view, the side going north is much lower than the side going south. My views were flashing in and out and I have to keep the steering wheel and hubs out of the pictures.

Saw where you are in the Ocala area where there are many good areas to use that camera including where many of the horses you see in big races are born and raised on horse farms. The beautiful rolling hills (yes there are some hilly areas in the state though small)

Yes we have little hills. I go by the horse farms all the time but mostly the horses are not visible.
