Chatabout vs. MyLot

I see that some mylotters are on chatabout and have posted about the site. I thought that I might add my two cents for those who are new to chatabout or are thinking about joining. Chatabout is a relatively new or young site. I am not certain that it is even two years old. There are some similarities to mylot and I joined the site to fill the void when I was no longer active on mylot. It is a legit site but it has gone through some growing pains and it is not as much fun as it used to be. I love the daily poll and paths. I, sometimes, watch some videos but they have raised cashout from 500 points to 1,000. It is not that easy to earn 1,000 points. Then, they added a captcha. In order to post, even a response, you have to do a captcha watching a short ad and then typing in the correct captcha. Along with that, they kept changing the rules. At first, you could write about other sites like swagbuckas or mylot. Then, they changed the rules and that is no longer allowed. it was explained tp me that posting about other sites causes members to go to these other sites and they want people to stay on chatabout. That was a real mistake, in my opinion. I always go to mylot to ask about or read about other sites. Being able to post about other sites causes me to come to mylot. I am staying with chatabout because it is a decent site but I am sure glad that mylot is back to paying and going back to the sort of original mylot.
