My experience says that the need of today is to be updated if you want to carry on with your business in this dynamic world. To improve your business analysis, do not only trust on primary data, but also on secondary sources. The techniques like SWOT analysis can effectively help you improve your business analysis.

@innovator12 Strengths, Weaknesses,Opportunities and Threats, yes, admirable. Every primary metric should have 1 or more secondary metrics, always wise. Kaizen and Ishigawa too. All tools to keep your business at the sharp edge. Good idea.
