Time to report on my walking for this morning. I had to go for my blood test and took advantage of being outdoor already to do a bit of walking. And a bit it was, the weather was much colder than I anticipated and I felt it in my lungs. So the walk lasted just about 20 minutes. I hope I will be able to go downstairs later on to do more walking, but right now, I feel pretty tired, so I am just doing computer stuff. How was your walk, I hope that you fared better than I did.

It must be cold there if you felt it in your lungs. I have not budged. Still in my jammies and sitting on the laptop! Okay I am going to do some work then go for a walk and come back! Thanks for the reminder.

Maybe I am just a sissy, but I found it too cold for me. Lovely sun though. You are sitting on your laptop? Just let us know how you did, but no pressure, if you can't go, you can't.

@AnneEJ Glad that your weather was more suitable for you today. How did you feel after the walk? Rejuvenated?

@marlina ...Not when you just walk in your mind's eye. That way you can walk on any surface.

Isn't the bed too soft for a walking surface? LOL

I had to take my husband for a hospital appointment so the only walking I did today was along hospital corridors! Still went quite a way though.

It sure was better than just sitting on those uncomfortable hospital chairs.

When you are out in the cold like that you should cover your nose and mouth with a scarf or something. It will help to warm the air that you are breathing in.

I forgot about the scarf as I thought it would be warmer.

The collar on my coat comes up quite high, and I have a hood, so not much of my face is showing when it is really cold. Today I didn't need the hood up.

I have not walked today except up and down the 3 flights here today a few times doing wash. Still, I am glad I have the energy to do so. Glad you got some kind of a walk in Marlina. Good luck with your blood tests.

For the time being, exercise is unpacking and putting furniture pieces together.

I haven't gone out for my walk in a month now. I have been stuck with some health issues that didn't permit any walking. I hope to resume once i feel better.

Now walking yet, but I'd hoped to use my exerciser last night while watching a movie, but I didn't get off the couch. Another day, I suppose. I forgot that the other day I ran into one of these types of posts and was going to check it out, but I must have checked another one first and then forgot. Do you wear any kind of scarf when walking in colder weather? If you put it nearer your mouth or nose, it will allow the air to warm a bit and maybe not be so cold on your lungs. Yet, I think twenty minutes in colder weather is quite good actually. Don't you have an inside mall or large store where you could go when the weather is especially bad?

It is hard to walk when it is so cold out, I get my best walks by going to the mall and walking the entire length of it plus its warmer there. lol

Good for you. I can't walk at the mall, it makes me extremely tired. Do not know why. My neighbors go every morning and love it.

My exercise today and yesterday is painting the walls in my living room. I can't tell you how many times I was up and down on the ladder and squatting on the floor.

I wasn't able to exercise my membership to the walking club yesterday as I was in the sitting club. I had to work an 8 hour day, so I was sitting that entire time-ugh.

I was out for about one hour. I went to the center of the village to the post office and back home. One hour walk in total, uphill on the way to the post office.

I walked 45 minutes at the mall which is about normal for me. And I will do it again tomorrow morning. It has been leaving me pretty sore, so I will be taking Saturday off to see if that helps any.

It is cold, just take care of yourself, please. I go to work on foot everyday. Luckily, the weather here is quite warm.
