Sitting here with nothing to do now

I have been baking all morning.. I found a great recipe and I just had to try it, and it is very good.. It is made with Ritz crackers, kind of a cheese cake mixture, and peanut butter... Very good. I am going to carry some to friends tonight. Now I sit here looking out the window, wondering what to do. I think I am going to go skating with my daugher about 5:00. Our rink will stay until January 18 and then they will take it up until next year. We have really enjoyed it, epsecially my daughter and grandson.
Okay, guess I will try to find something good to do until 5:00. Love you, later friends.

@JudyEv (7160) Judy, some outside company brings it in and sets it up, it takes about two weeks to set it up. I think the City of Chattanooga pays them to do this either rents it or a set price. It is so nice, and it is sitting right there on the river, such a beautiful site while you are down there skating or watching or whatever you choose to do.

@tuttiharris I blew the photo up (so to speak!). What are the ones doing who seem to be pushing things? Are these supports for people who can't skate? That would be me if that's so

@tuttiharris There have been several temporary ice rinks in the UK which have had to close because the cost of maintaining the ice is too much in the mild weather we have been having

@fishtiger58 Me, too. I just did a big pressure cooker pot full of Chicken Noodle, we will eat some tonight and take some to our pastor, who is in the hospital, hopefull to he and his wife, and maybe if there is any more left for us tomorrow night, that will be great.

Oh those do look so yummy @ttiharris. right now out of my window I am seing some really beautiful clouds white as s now ag aingst the super blue sky.S ome are getting black as we are due another rain
storm but so far its still gathering force . I am not sure f it will rain again or not.The suns been out a lot too.

It has been warm this afternoon...am waiting on daughter to come so we can go skating... but I think we are supposed to get more rain tomorrow. Not looking forward to that, we have had so much rain, but not nearly as bad as in California. My prayers are surely with them. Love to you ,my firend.

@paigea (3241) The weather has been so warm here in December and November it was hard for them to keep the ice from melting.. The sun was very hot, and one day they just had to close it.
